This years end of season bash 2006 was held at the Moorings Hotel, Motherwell. This fantastic friendly hotel was a perfect venue for our evening. The staff kept the drinks flowing and served a lovely four course meal. The function suite was our own for the evening and rooms were supplied if we needed them (booked in advance). Accomodation at the hotel was superb, we were looked after well!! Thanks to all staff at the hotel who helped make our evening one to remember.
Voting took place in September to elect who they thought deserved the trophey "Car of the Year". Votes were counted in October. The winner of the trophey was Neil Green with his 280 Brooklands, runner up was Chris Crawford with his 2.8 TT. Presentations were made and both were delighted with there trophies.
Thanks were given to club officials for their hard work, thanks were also given to members for there continued support throughout the year.
After all the official club duties were finished the evenings entertainment got underway.
Drink, music, jokes and laughter with a great bunch of people in a fantastic setting. The evening was a great success!
For those who stayed the night in the hotel, breakfast in the morning was just what was needed to get us kick started for the day.
